Rosehill Racing Tips
Race 1 – SPRING CARNIVAL ON SALE MONDAY HANDICAP (1200M)
Galina (9) – Nice first up run at Randwick running on well and then last start looked a certainty beaten at Warwick Farm. Fitter for those efforts and looks very hard to beat.
River Bird (6) – Fitter for two runs back from a spell. Last start looked the winner until late. Form last preparation was good around stronger horses. Looks a good each way bet. Currently $7.5.
Ronstar (2) – Won well on debut leader from barrier to box. Fitter and should be improved from that effort and will be looking to roll forward again from the gate. Should be in the finish.
Race 2 – THE DARK HORSE (1500M)
Gresham (2) – Strong winner last start at Canterbury sitting forward in the run and proving to strong. On the quick back up today and good record at the trip. Hard to beat.
Sparky Lad (3) – Last two starts have been good without making it into the placings. On the quick back up and has run well here in the past. Expecting a forward showing. Currently $4.6.
Playard (5) – Very good at Scone two starts back then forget it went around last start when missing the start badly. Another on the quick back up. Looks to represent good value. Currently $11.
Race 3 – #THERACES HANDICAP (1200M)
Brabinger (8) – Two starts and two wins. Looked good on debut winning and the form out of that event was strong then last start sat outside the leader and won comfortably. Hard to beat.
Siam (5) – Nice win first up at Kembla Grange then last start at Scone ran home well in a quick time event. Only run here was just over 2 lengths behind Viridine. Can be in the finish.
Easy Eddie (2) – Honest on pacer who was good last start when nabbed late in the piece. Drawn to cross and lead again today. Can be in the finish again with the right run.
Smartedge (3) – First up run was good behind the smart Cradle Mountain then last start loomed up to win and tired late. Fitter for two runs back. Will be running on late. Don’t leave out. Currently $8.
Race 4 – TAB HIGHWAY HANDICAP (1400M)
Hemmerle (2) – Won first two career starts in good fashion then last start didn’t finish to far behind the winner in harder grade. The drop in grade and soft run from the draw should have him right in the finish.
Radiant Choice (1) – Bolted in at Tamworth last start leading from barrier to box in quick time. Should peak in fitness today and JMac is booked for the ride. Will give them something catch.
Doctor On Ice (8) – Bolted in on debut winning in good fashion. Then last start at Ipswich ran on soundly as an odds on favourite. Stable scratched the stablemate. Goes close.
Willyama (12) – Good win before spelling then another good win first up from a spell. Should be fitter for that effort and will roll forward from the draw. Harder here however racing well. Currently $26.
Race 5 – EREMEIN HANIDCAP (1800M)
Dagny (10) – Nice run second up here working to the line well. Fitter for two runs back and step up in trip looks no issue. Good record here and gets the services of McEvoy today.
Harpers Choice (7) – Fitter for two runs back from a spell. Excellent record at this journey and ran some good races last preparation. Expecting forward showing today. Currently $15.
New Tipperary (1) – Nice return effort then last start was very unlucky at Scone. Step up in trip suits. Up sharply in weight today and seems short enough in betting however more than capable of winning this.
Race 6 – PRE PURCHASE AND SAVE HANDICAP (1400M)
Princess Posh (3) – Didn’t have the clearest path in the straight running a nice third. Peaks in fitness today for mine. Good record at this trip and it doesn’t look any harder race. Will go close.
It’s Time for Magic (6) – Consistent type who won well first up at Warwick Farm. Should be fitter for that effort and McEvoy stays on top. Should get a good run from the draw. Currently $6.
Queen Misty (8) – Should of finished closer first up. Fitter for that effort and has good second up record and figures at both track and trip both very good. Been a while since winning a race however can be in the finish here.
Sharpness (11) – Three solid performances this preparation without running into the money. Peaks in fitness today and Avdulla goes on. Expecting bold showing. Currently $8.
Race 7 – SYDNEYS WEST APP HANDICAP (1500M)
I Am Serious (2) – Bounced back to form last start with a nice victory settling well back and finishing off strongly. Won well last preparation when third up and expecting to go close again.
Medaille (5) – A bit plain first up then struck trouble last start not getting a clear run at them. Drops in weight and McEvoy goes on. Expecting to be fitter and right in the finish here. Currently $14.Seaway (6) – Racing well. Was an impressive winner at Canterbury two starts back then last start rattled to the line late. Short enough in betting. However makes plenty of appeal.
King Viv (3) – Winner the last two times when first up and looked good in a recent trial. Only query is it’s a lengthy layoff however form last preparation is good enough for this.
Race 8 – OCTAGONAL HANDICAP (1400M)
Special Missile (7) – Tasted narrow defeats the last two starts. Racing well and has a very good record here. Avdulla goes on and will get a nice run from the draw. Very close to a win.Noire (11) – Got back and ran on soundly first up as favourite. Fitter for that effort and has a good second up record. Drops 5.5 kg from last start. Expecting to be in the finish today.
Crafty Cop (12) – Big win last start never giving anything else a look in leading from barrier to box. Drops 5 kg from that win and looks to be able to cross and lead again today.Firsthand (8) – First up run was good then happy to forgive last start at Scone. Good third up figures and races well here. Watch for him to be running home late. Currently $10.
Race 9 – ASCOT RESTAURANT SALE (1100M)
Ozark (5) – Nice first up win getting well back and sprinting well. Has since trialled well and has ran well second up. Little step up in trip looks to be no issue. Hard to beat. Currently $6.
Nictock (4) – First up and a winner of 7 from 7 on good tracks and 4 from 4 at this trip. Recent trial was very good winning well. He knows how to win. Can be in the finish here.
Akasaki (2) – Big winner at Scone last start flashing home from well back. Good run the start prior at Listed level says he going well enough to take this out. Currently $6.5.
Difficult To Get (9) – First up and has a good fresh record and looked good in a recent trial. Goes well here and should get a soft run from the draw. Looks short enough in betting however has claims.
