Lightly raced five year old Mick Price trained gelding that appears ideally placed in this just moderate BenchMark 70 affair. Having now had the three runs back, including two latest very nice efforts when hitting the line strongly, expect this bloke to now peak stepping up to the more suitable 2025m trip. A good indication as to how well he is placed is the fact his only two previous South Australian runs were against Group One and Group Three company when starting hard in the market on each occasion. This seriously presents as an ‘egg and spoon race’ in comparison hence why our confidence is through the roof. Lightly raced Paul Seater trained mare resuming from a twelve month lay-off. Although drawn out wide still not overly concerned as she does possess plenty of natural pace hence expecting her to cross and sit outside the leader. Her 50% win strike rate is a good indication that she has an abundance of ability however still respectful market will be a true indication as she hasn’t trialled publicly. If ready to fire fresh obviously don’t expect to see the current opening $9 to last too long as she does have the ratings to put most of these away….comfortably!! Admittedly at this stage we are recommending this mare as a ‘big watch-ready to react quickly’ investment at this stage however she simply must go in at the potentially attractive price on offer.

Super honest Leon and Troy Corstens trained galloper resuming. Noted first-up flyer having won three from five previously, whilst also having placed in both other fresh efforts. Maps ideally to enjoy a relatively unpressured run sitting just off the pace and given Stable have elected to claim really does appear to get in particularly well just 1kg above the minimum. Admittedly far from a good thing tackling some other very handy gallopers, however simply can’t ignore the fact this bloke has opened at a most attractive $11….that readers is terrific each-way value!!
