Rosehill Racing Tips
Race 1 – HALF YEARLY MEMBERSHIP HANDICAP (1400M)
Toulouse (2) – Very good win first up sitting towards the tail of the small field and finishing off well to score. Should only be better for that run and repeat performance has him right in the finish.
Dio D’oro (1) – Two strong wins this preparation at Randwick. Is building an excellent wet track profile. Extra distance should be no problems and hard to knock a winner. Goes close again.
Race 2 – TAB HIGHWAY HANDICAP (1400M)
Wallander (10) – Sharp improvement last start at the Gold Coast winning by 5 lengths. Extra distance should be no issue and has abit more upside than a few of this. Goes close.
Bocelli (4) – A winner of two of the past three starts. Two starts back in similar class was good holding position to the line. Looks short enough in betting however racing well and is very fit.
Gitan (5) – Consistent performer who is first up today. Two recent trials he has looked good and has performed well in this class and fresh in the past. Can feature in the finish.
Realing (2) – Fitter for three runs back and has been a touch unlucky in all three starts. Drop in class and Angland goes and from strong yard. Keep an eye on betting. Currently $9.
Race 3 – #THERACES HANDICAP (1500M)
Lisdoonvarna (3) – Racing well this preparation. Last start got back and hit the line very well to narrowly go down. On the quick back up and only run here was very good. Hard to beat.
Gresham (1) – Won the two starts in great fashion before possibly going to the wrong part of the straight when a short priced favourite. Expecting a bounce back in form today.
Curdled (2) – Building to a win this preparation. Last start narrowly went down after working to the line well. Can get a soft run from the draw and peaks in fitness today.
Radiant Choice (12) – A winner here two starts back then again solid on pace. Was scratched from the TAB Highway to run in this. Can roll forward and give them something to catch.
Race 4 – BOOK SPRING NOW SPRINT (1100M)
Brook Magic (1) – Good win first up at Randwick beating She Knows who has since won. Second up record is good and drawn to get a soft run again. Can be in the finish.
Alassio (5) – Three starts three wins. The two wins this campaign have been when leading and kicking strongly. This is only slightly harder. Should be right there at the end.
Upscale (1) – First up and with a very good fresh record. Has raced well against better opposition in the past and two recent trials look like she is ready to go. Watch betting. Currently $7.5.
Race 5 – TAB REWARDS HANDICAP (1800M)
La Chica Bella (1) – The last three efforts all here have been very good. Won well last start sitting on pace and proving to strong. Think the step up in trip suits. Is getting up in the weights however racing very well.
Tornado Gal (14) – The last two victories have been very good winning comfortably. On the quick back up today after a strong Hawkesbury victory. Is on the up and a clear threat in this race.
So Splendid (2) – Fitter after a solid first up performance running on soundly to finish third. Second up record is sound and distance will be no issue. Expecting another good run today.
Sweet Victory (3) – Put in an average one last start after two good victories at the previous runs. Drawn to get a soft run from the draw and I think wants this trip now. Can bounce back.
Race 6 – WINTER CUP (2400M)
Plymouth Road (7) – Impressive winner last Saturday stepping up in trip and giving nothing else a look in. This is a step up in grade however fit, racing well and looks the likely leader again.
Sayed (2) – Two runs back from a spell have been good and building up to this distance. Has a very good record at this trip and drops sharply in weight from last start. Right in this.
Araaja (5) – I’m going to be slightly forgiving for last start after failing in the heavy. Previous runs this campaign were very good. Small query at the 2400m however I think is the value in the race. Currently $10.
Race 7 – CIVIC STAKES (1350M)
Flow (13) – Nice winner first up as favourite holding the lead and proving to strong in the straight. Fitter for that effort and has an excellent second up record. Should be to sit close in the run and be right in the finish.
Invinzabeel (7) – Two runs this preparation have been good running on well to narrowly go down. Good winner last time when third up and an excellent tack and distance record.
Dreamforce (5) – Excellent winner first up flashing home and second has since won. Distance rise is no issue and no very good record over this trip and second up. A repeat performance has him in the finish.
Gold Symphony (4) – Fitter after first up effort on a heavy track which isn’t his go. Won this event last year and expecting again to see sharp improvement today. Currently $27.
Race 8 – ATC OWNERS BENEFIT CARD (1500M)
Promethus (9) – Good first up effort sitting forward in the run and battling on well behind Flow. Excellent second up record and drops sharply in grade today. Looks over the odds. Currently $13.
The Avenger (4) – Nice win first up then last start after being sent out as favourite ran on solidly to the line. Fitter again and has raced well in the past third up. Right in this.
Mapmaker (13) – Honest performer who was again last start good sitting forward in the run and holding onto third after working early. Peaks today in fitness and races very well here.
Coonawarra (5) – Forget first up effort and go on last start leading from barrier to box in a strong effort. Drawn to find the front again today. On the quick back back up and Avdulla goes on ticks a lot of boxes.
Race 9 – SYDNEY WEST APP (1100M)
Malahat (17) – Flew late last start after finding trouble in the straight. Peaks in fitness today for mine and did finish just over three lengths from Merchant Navy only four starts back! Reads well for this.
Redouble (13) – First up run was good working to the line well. Has since won a trial in impressive fashion. Small query on the second up record however looks ready to run another bold race.
Perizada (5) – First up run was good then happy to forget last start. Talented performer who has won at stakes level and with good third up record. Rarely runs a bad one. Watch betting. Currently $13.
Tango Rain (7) – Well tried at longer odds last start and narrowly went down to in form winner. His best form is more than capable of taking this out. Fit and can be in the finish.
