Race 4: BM 72 Handicap 1900m
IVY’S COURT (4) Well backed at Wyong three starts back and got the cash in good style then the following two starts have worked to the line well to finish in the placings. Handles a rain affected track and will appreciate the step up in trip. Waller/Bowman combo must always be respected. One to beat.
Dangers:
SEABABE (7) Fitter for three runs back from a spell and all three have been good working to the line well without saluting. JMac gets the ride and is a winner at 1900m. At peak fitness. Expecting a big run. ALLCASH (2) Fitter for two runs back from a spell and is twice a winner at this course and winner up to 2700m so the step up in trip will be no issue. Can feature in the finish today.
Race 5: BM 70 Handicap 1550m
LOVE SHACK BABY (1) Good winner last start at Kensington sitting just behind the leaders and proving to strong down the straight to score in good time. This does not look any harder and should be at peak fitness now. Three time winner over this trip and can take up a forward position from the wide draw.
Dangers:
CLASSIC JADE (8) Sound effort at Wyong two starts back then last start broke maiden status winning well at Newcastle. Time was good last start and rolls forward in his races. Can be in the finish. SPIRIT AND FIRE (6) Queensland visitor who was a good winner last start at the Sunshine Coast as favourite. Twice a winner at this course and winner on a slow track. Respect the stable travelling him here.
Race 6: BM 70 Handicap 1250m
CAPE WICKHAM (6) Very good effort first up at Newcastle working to the line well to win when specked in the betting. Should be fitter for that effort and is twice a winner second up. Trials prior to first up run were good and excellent record over this trip. Love the this in form stable and looks to be right in the finish today.
Dangers:
BEIDI (10) only the winner of one starts however has raced well in higher grade races than is meeting today. First up run was sound and has since trialed well Im expecting him to have improved and from strong yard. INTENSE FOCUS (13) Sound first up effort at Wyong working to the well. Fitter for that effort and McEvoy gets the ride for the powerful Snowden yard. Only other second up run produced a good victory at Kembla Grange.
Race 7: BM 70 Handicap 1200m
SOPHIELLA (3) The last two starts have been good working to the line well in both to narrowly go down and both as favourite. Hasn’t run a bad one in her career and drawn well again to obtain a nice run just behind the leaders. Rain affected tracks poses no issues and is fit.
Dangers:
DIVINE BREEZE (1) Good on pace effort at Warwick Farm first up then not as bad as it looks on paper last start. Drawn to take up a forward position and rain affected track looks no problems. Can feature in this. WIDE SPREAD PANIC (5) First up and fitter for two recent trials. Form last preparation was good in higher grade races than today. Probably wants it a touch longer but respecting from this stable. Watch betting. LADY OF SHALOTT (7) Well backed first up and was a solid effort. Rolls forward from a wide draw and looked to have ability in her first preparation. Keep safe.
