He looks a good thing if able to show any improvement off that debut run.”

“Interesting runner resuming, now with the Weir stable he had a nice start to his career in NZ and gets Zahra legging up. He has shown he is not just a wet tracker also, watch for any money for him.”

“First up performance was very good when specked in the betting behind the smart Sweet Scandal running on strongly to finish second in a quick time event. Second up record is good and did race at group level last preparation. Was supported when markets went up on Wednesday. Expecting a big run.”

R6 #6 FASTNET LATINA“Victorian visitor that comes into this off a real eyecatcher when charged late in race best sectionals to finish fourth, just 1.6L off the winner Black Sail. Steps up to the longer 1800m here for the first time however suggest it’s a trip which should now relish. Gets in with absolutely no weight after the claim with just 52kg (drops 4.5kg!). Only previous run this track smashed her rivals by an ever-widening 3L! May only be $2.20 however suggest there is certainly still a clear edge at that price….best bet!”
