Race 1 – OWNERS RECOGNITION RACEDAY HANDICAP (1500M)
Laburnum (6) – Fitter for two runs back where she has ran on well in both starts. Extra distance looks to suit and drawn to get a soft run off the speed. The one to beat for mine.
Nobu (8) – Didn’t have a lot of luck on her debut then good last start here holding ground to the line. Fitter for those efforts and another where the extra trip looks to suit. McEvoy goes on today.
Inherit (2) – Nice winner at debut running on hard to score at Newcastle. Fitter for that effort and Bowman goes on today. Drawn to get a soft run and willing be running on again late.
Race 2 – OWNERS BENEFIT CARD (2000M)
Falcon Island (3) – Good effort two starts back at Hawkesbury being run down late then last start bolted in at Wyong winning by over 8 lengths. Extra distance looks to suit. Hard to beat.
The Macallan (5) – First run in Australia last start and held ground to the line. Should only be improved from that effort and drawn to get a soft run. Expecting another bold showing.
Sweet Victory (1) – Good last start in higher grade when racing without a lot of luck. Trip looks to be no issues and is very fit. Expecting to be in the finish again today.
Race 3 – TAB HIGHWAY PLATE (1500M)
Nicconita (11) – The last three runs have all been at this grade for three good seconds. JMac goes on today and drawn to get a soft run. Looks her race to break through today.
Roman Typhoon (6) – Nice win last start springing well to score. Peaks in fitness today however a small query with the step up in trip. If handles it can win. Watch betting. Currently $5.5
Pierino (3) – Won first two starts this preparation in good style then run down late last start in the shadows of the post. This is harder however fit and racing well. Can be in the finish.
Wallander (10) – Bolted in two starts back at the Gold Coast winning by 5 lengths. Last start was unable to find the front as a short priced favourite. If can get things run to suit can be in the finish.
Race 4 – DESTINY’S KISS SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENT HANDICAP (2000M)
Raqeeq (12) – Two runs this preparation have good running running on well. Drawn well and McEvoy on top and drops nicely in weight for this assignment. Looks hard to beat today.
Vaucluse Bay (7) – Bounced back from last start failure with a strong victory and this track and trip. Very consistent galloper with Bowman on top today. Hard to be it not in the finish again.
Just Shine (3) – Winner of 4 of his past 5 starts including a last start victory. Excellent record at this trip and drawn well. Only worry is starting to creep up in the weights. Going well.
Carzoff (1) – Very good first up effort at 1800m running astrong second. Should only be improved from hat run and boasts a good second up record. Distance rise is no issue. Can feature in the finish.
Race 5 – ATC HONG KONG TOUR (1100M)
Condor Heroes (5) – Smart colt resuming. Forget only run here when worked hard up front. Does boast a second a group level. Latest trials from him looked like a horse ready to go. Watch betting.
Tip Top (4) – Very good first up run hitting the line well from well back in the field. Fitter for that run and is 2 from 2 second up. Drops a shade in class today. Can be in the finish.
Way We Go (9) – First up after a very long time off the scene. Only runs were very good recording 2 wins from 3 starts. Recent trials looked good. Does have ability and I would keep a close eye on the betting.
Stephan (10) – Racing in great form in Canberra. Last start came from well back and finished off hard to score. Building an excellent overall record. This is harder, however hard to knock a winner.
Race 6 – TAB REWARDS (1400M)
Paret (10) – First up run was very good finishing off hard to run third. Fitter for that effort and does race well here. The engagement of Bowman is a plus. Expecting to see him running on hard late.
Snitzel Day (6) – Prepared to forgive last start effort when raced without luck after dropping back sharply in trip. Shinn engaged and back to his right distance. Should get a soft run.
Foreign Territory (8) – Big winner two starts back leading from barrier to box in good fashion then last start was run down late in a good effort. Peaks today and can feature in the finish if able to dictate pace.
Zidane (12) – Good win at Hawkesbury last start after racing wide and proving to strong in the straight. This is a sharp step up in class however fit and racing well. Can be in the finish. Currently $26.
Race 7 – WINTER CHALLENGE (1500M)
Invinzabeel (4) – Three runs back this preparation have all been good without winning. Last start tried hard running second behind the flying Dreamforce. Peaks today and distance rise suits. Goes close.
Special Missile (13) – 8 runs this preparation and all of them have been very good without winning. Very fit and excellent record at this trip. Hard to see it not in the finish again.
Show A Star (10) – On pacer who is first up today and drawn to take up the running. Two recent trials have been good and has strong fresh record. Watch betting. Currently $14
Gold Symphony (5) – Peaks in fitness today and three runs back have been fair. Previous form is good enough to take a race like this out and from strong yard. Im giving one last chance. Currently $27.
Race 8 – ATC THANKS OWNERS (1200M)
Star Of Monsoon (13) – Took a while to break through however has won 3 of past 6 including last start win first up. Second from that event has since won and should only be fitter for the run. Hard to beat.
Goodfella (7) – First up run was sound and will be fitter for that effort. Improved dramatically second up last preparation winning well. Expecting same improvement again.
Eusebio (10) – Got the cash first up at Moonee Valley carrying a big weight. Fitter for that effort and goes well at this trip. Bowman goes on another plus. Expecting another good run.
Insensata (9) – Rattled home to the line first up running second here in what was a good effort. Fitter for that run and building a strong record at this course. Expecting to see her flashing home late.
Race 9 – NSW RACEHORSES OWNERS ASSOCIATION (1200M)
Bella Success (12) – The last two runs have been very good running on late to finish in the placings. On the quick back up and McEvoy goes on signals another big run. Goes close.Sweet Scandal (11) – On pacer who has won her last two starts at Canterbury and Warwick Farm leading and kicking strongly. JMac goes on and still on the up. Watch betting.
Oria (13) – Very consistent the last 4 runs with the biggest losing margin being just 1.1 lengths. From a strong yard and gets in well at the weights hard to see her not in the finish again.Zonk (9) – Last two runs have been good on pace. Suspecting they will roll forward with the 3kg claim and is very fit. Might give them something to catch in the straight. Currently $10.
