Race 6: Choisir Handicap 1100m

TACTICAL ADVANTAGE (1) Won well two starts back on the Kensington as favourite then wasn’t disgraced behind a very impressive Pierata in a race where they ran faster than The Everest on the same day. Drops in grade today, is fit and has a class edge on his rivals. Looks hard to beat

Dangers:

MARSUPIAL (5) Good on pace effort in a race that suited the run on horses. Can take up a forward position from the draw and has run well at G3 level last preparation. Can take it up to the top selection. DISSOLUTE (6) Fitter for two runs back from a spell where he has ran on soundly in both events. Last start ran on well behind Tactical Advantage. Will need to improve to win the race however if they over do it up front he will be the one running home hard.

Race 7: BM 74 Handicap 1200m

DEITY (4) She has started favourite in 3 of his past 4 runs and has won two of them. The best of those was two starts back at Warwick Farm where she ran on well to score in quick time. Last start was sound again starting as favourite. I like she is back to 1200m and stable is going well. Looks hard to beat

Dangers:

SUPER STAR BOB (9) We put him in our selections last start and he ran a good second at a nice price. Fitter for that effort and has a good record at both the track and the trip. Expecting him to be working home well again from his wide draw. PEMBROKE CASTLE (13) Good first up run at Canterbury working home well to narrowly go down than abit plain last start as a short priced favourite. Happy to forgive that effort and is peaking in fitness and from a strong yard. Can be in the finish. SOUTHERN LAD (6) Lightly raced and won well at Wyong first up running home well to score. Has since been given a quiet trial working to the line soundly. Drawn wide however has abit of upside and Im not willing to leave out of muliples.

Race 8: tab.com.au Handicap 1300m

VELOCITA (1) Well tried last start at Warwick Farm and worked to the line well in a very tight finish to just miss the placings. The start prior was a good victory again at Warwick Farm. Drawn a touch wide however will be running on strongly and is now at peak fitness. Has a class edge on some of these. Right in the mix.

Dangers:

NAI’A (5) Nice victory at Kembla grange three starts back then a forgive run when well in the market then a return to form running on well to place. The form out of that race reads well for this and from strong yard. SWEET AVA (3) Fitter for three runs back from a spell and all three efforts have been sound without winning. Last start was behind the smart Pohutukawa who looks to be above average. VINNIE POWER (4) Very consistent on pacer who has won two of the past three and the beaten runner since winning at Saturday grade. Specked in early markets and a must for multiples.

Race 9: 2019 Membership Handicap 1600m

WATCHDOG (4) Tough event to finish the day however I have settled on Watchdog. He was a good win two starts back at Wyong as favourite sitting forward in the runner and proving to strong in the straight then not disgraced last start when well tried in the betting running third. Peaks in fitness today and stable going well.

Dangers:

DANZIE (11) On pacer who was a good winner last start at Canterbury. Drawn wide however however only knows one way and that is to race forward. Can be right in the finish if he gets a soft time of it up front. SMOOTH WHISKEY (15) Forget the last start effort at Saturday grade and go on the starts prior behind the very smart Girl Tuesday who would be a short priced favourite in this. Can bounce back to form today from the wide draw. TUNERO (18) Was specked in the betting first up at Hawkesbury and ran home well to run second. Fitter for that effort and did run well when last second up. Drops 5kg from last start and from the Waller yard. Can’t leave out.
