Race 1 – TAB HIGHWAY PLATE (1600M)
Panzerfaust (14) – Strong winner first up at Scone then last started rattled home once again to finish a close second. Fitter for those two efforts and lightly raced. Looks hard to beat.
Butchoy (7) – First up win was good then the last two starts have been sound in this company without a lot of luck. Peaks in fitness today for mine and can be in the finish here.
Wallander (6) – Trick is to find the front with him. Has won two of the past three leading from barrier to box. Fit, lightly raced and stable has a great record in these races. Currently $6.
Cisco Bay (1) – Good effort under big weight two starts back then found to be lame after last start effort when sent out as favourite in this class. Fit and can atone today.
Race 2 – BOB INGHAM HANDICAP (2400M)
Raqeeq (8) – Good win two starts back then last start ran on soundly in a race that suited on pace runners. Fit and proven at this trip. Expecting another bold showing today.
Just Shine (3) – Fitter for three runs back from a spell. Last start ran on soundly to run a nice second to Raqeeq. Unknown at this trip however peaks in condition and from top yard. Currently $4.
Follow Suit (7) – Winner of the previous two starts in good fashion then last start was just solid to the line. Fit and can make amends today with Bowman going on top. Currently $10.
Vaucluse Bay (5) – Good effort last start running on well to narrowly go down. Good win three starts back beating Raqeeq and proven at the trip says he can be in the finish today.
Race 3 – FORUM HANDICAP (1000M)
Almanzora (8) – Fitter for first up effort where she ran on well from back in the field after being sent out as favourite. Form last preparation strong for a race of this class. One to beat.
Brook Magic (3) – Won well first up then the next three starts have been soild in slightly higher grade. Fit and goes well at this trip and any rain around would be a bonus. Can win.
Rebel Miss (4) – Last two starts have been good running on well from well back to place. Peaks in condition for mine and she is sure to be running on late again.
Race 4 – DARLEY SILVER SHADOW STAKES (1200M)
Oohood (3) – The best maiden in Australia. Last two starts before break were excellent at G1 level going down narrowly in both. Good fresh and over this trip. Looks hard to beat.
Fiesta (1) – First up and fitter for two recent trials. A high class filly from strong yard who has very good previous form a group level. Drawn a touch awkwardly, however to much class to rule out.
Outback Barbie (4) – Queenslander who is first up and winner of a recent trial. Form last preparation was very good at group level including a placing in the Magic Millions. Watch betting.
Race 5 – UP AND COMING STAKES (1300M)
Spin (3) – Taken to Kembla Grange first up and bolted in as a very short priced favourite. Fitter and form last preparation very good a group level. Currently $6.5
Smart Elissim (7) – Very good win on Debut at Sale then went to town last start at Sandown and made it two in a row with another strong win. Unbeaten and hard to knock.
Military Zone (6) – Broke the maiden status first up at Newcastle as favourite then came to Randwick last start to make it two in a row this preparation. From strong yard and drops 4kg from last start. Can win this.
Race 6 – WINX STAKES (1400M)
Winx (10) – The champ is back! She looked the part in a recent barrier trial at Rosehill and looks set to take all before her again this spring. Just wins. Kementari was good fresh and should be better for the run. Maybe take the exacta and sit back and watch her win again!
Race 7 – SHOW COUNTY QUALITY (1200M)
Le Romian (1) – First up and very consistent G1 performer. Looked the part in a recent trial and has run well in this race in the past. Big weight however looks very hard to beat.
Siege Of Quebec (7) – First up and drawn to roll forward from the wide gate. Has an excellent fresh record winning 2 from 2. Looked good in recent trials. Can win this.Dal Cielo (4) – Flew home last start behind the smart Trekking and the start prior was also good rattling home. On the quick back up today. Fit and in form. Can win this today.
Race 8 – TOY SHOW QUALITY (1300M)
I Am Coldplay (2) – Talented mare who is first up for the Waller yard after coimg across from NZ. Given a quiet trial leading into this today and Bowman goes on. Watch betting. Can measure up in an open race.
Nettoyer (6) – Talented mare who is first up and ran some good races last preparation at group level. Will get back in the run, however expect her to be running on late. Goes well here.
Egyptian Symbol (1) – Excuses first up when pulling up lame. Fitter and ran very well second up last preparation. Should get a good run from the draw and can be in the finish today.
Smart Amelia (10) – Good win first up running on hard to score then last start again rattled home hard to narrowly miss running third. This is harder however fit and running well.
Race 9 – NICHOLAS MORAITIS HANDICAP (1400M)
Kaonic (5) – Looked good winning here first up at this track and trip running on hard to score in good time. Fitter for that effort and Bowman goes on. Expecting will be in the finish again.
Onslaught (8) – Win at Sandown two starts back was very scoring by 4 lengths then last start travelled wide. Im happy to forgive that performance and give another chance.
Goodfella (6) – First two runs this preparation have been sound without looking the winner. Fitter for those efforts and previous form is good enough to win this. Step up in trip suits. Knock out chance at $26.
Souchez (3) – Good run first up finishing off well after being slowly away. Fitter for that effort and twice a winner second up. From an in form stable and drawn to get a soft run.
