More than handy Phillip Stokes trained mare bursting to break through having had the three very nice runs back since resuming. Simply must back up again having tipped readers into her just last week and thought we had the chocolates before the flying All About Nicci bloused her late. Love backing horses on the quick back-up, especially when dropping slightly in grade. In a race where most of her main rivals map behind her, expect this mare to again be horribly hard to hold out, especially in a race where she appears to tick almost all boxes. Each way all day at the opening $6!

Will Clarken has a great record improving runners when they join his Stable and expect this recently acquired ex-Sydney sider to be no exception. Had absolutely no luck second-up when seemingly bolting, camped right on leaders backs, before losing all momentum when badly held-up, eventually running seventh beaten 4.1L. Put the writing on the wall that she was a horse to follow when runner-up at first South Australia start, in what has now become a good form race (four subsequent winners!). On-pace type that maps ideally, settling up handy on what just appears an even tempo, senior rider jumps back aboard whilst has also since trialled nicely. Blinkers go on for first…best gamble at the most generous $6 on offer!

Race 7 No 3 INN KEEPER
Speedy Victorian visitor that brings with him the quite imposing record of seven wins and two runner-up efforts from just the ten race starts. Suggest Stable have had this race in mind for quite some time, coming into this off a five week freshen-up. Form since resuming outstanding, winning four on end before far from disgraced behind the classy Voodoo Lad (has again since won impressively!) last time out. Drawn to again go straight to the front….relatively comfortably and given favourable Soft track conditions expect him to simply run these into the ground. Suggest the current $2.65 reads as most generous….will be winning!

Race 8 No 19 OUR WITNESS
Reckon we have found a genuine blowout chance at big odds to round out proceedings. Wayne Francis and Glen Kent trained five year old gelding that has seriously had no luck in all three runs back since resuming, however has still finished close-up on each occasion. Just love the fact he is now being stepped up to the 1200m and appears drawn to settle a lot closer with no weight on his back. Admittedly will need that ounce of luck that has been sadly deserting him however more than confident he is capable of absolutely surprising….simply deserves to be supported at the current $21!
