Race 4 no 11 KENYAN WONDER
Ryan Balfour trained Zoustar filly that has displayed plenty of promise finishing runner-up in both starts to date. Most recent effort in particular, just last Saturday can only be described as outstanding, when most unlucky not to score, despite receiving absolutely no favours in the run. Not only did she get back off just a moderate tempo, she was then stopped in her tracks just when she was starting to unwind, before still having the audacity of getting to within 0.7L of the winner. In fact produced the days fastest final sectional of the day….suggest not a bad effort for a maiden on a metro Saturday program! Meets a line-up here which quite simply she would destroy on past ratings whilst the debutants have also yet to display anything at the trials. Jamie Kah now jumps aboard….hate using the term moral however???

Darren Weir visitor that had outstanding form here in the Autumn which eventually culminated in winning the Group Three SA Fillies Classic! Form since returning, has been far from disgraced against much stronger Melbourne company. Honestly couldn’t be any better placed against this just very modest line-up and expect her to be far too classy for these! Considering we have this mare priced close to evens suggest the current $3.20 on offer makes her the days best bet!

Just ran out of condition first-up when still far from disgraced when having first start for the Stokes Stable. This seriously no tougher yet still gets in with same weight after young Caboche’s claim. Honestly maps ideally…expect him to take a ton of running down and although not massive value, suggest there is still a margin at current $2.10! Miss Labelle ($6) best current overlay in the race!

Race 7 No 8 SOMETHING SILVER
Victorian visitor that has been good in both runs back since resuming. Thought she was so game when chasing the in-form Miss Jane last start. Suggest those formlines read strong for this whilst also maps ideally with J.Kah now jumping aboard-very hard to beat and more than happy to jump aboard at the current $3.80! Suggest quaddie players don’t need to go wide here with Flying Krupt ($3.70) presenting as the only danger!

Race 8 No 8 GOING GAGA
Michael Hickmott trained five year old that is now bursting to break through again coming into this off the back of three very nice runs since resuming. Really looks to have found his ideal race with class/weight/tempo all looking to suit whilst the obvious engagement of Jamie Kah is the icing on the cake. A repeat of rating two starts back in particular would see this bloke simply blow these away…real keen to finish the day off with a big play at the current $2.70! Suggest the best value/improver in the race is Chapel City ($10).
