Race 4: BM 64 Handicap 1200m
RADICAL IMPACT (6) First run after a little freshen up was good in BM 74 grade finishing just over a length from the winner. The previous four runs in this grade were all very good efforts on pace. Expecting to be fitter and be able to cross and control the speed from the draw. Will be right in the finish.
Dangers:
SERGEANT (5) First up run was sound here working to the line well. Fitter and only other second up run was a very easy victory as an odds on favourite. From strong yard and will go well today. JOY FOR US (7) Only a winner of one race however got back and worked home well first up to finish just over a length from the winner. Only career win was here over this track and trip.
Race 5: BM 70 Handicap 1100m
INVINCIBLE GANGSTA (2) First up run was very good at Warwick Farm getting back and working to the line well to run second in a quick time race. Fitter for that effort and we get a soft run from the draw and expecting to be finish over the top of them. Tommy berry rides and I think he can get him home.
Dangers:
ROMAN TYPHOON (8) Won a trial here in good fashion prior to sound first up effort. It was the standard second up which was poor. Im happy to look past that effort. Avdulla rides and ready to run a big race here. FINE HERO (5) Fit and last two starts have been good in weaker grade running on well. Only run here was better than it looks. Can be right in the finish.
Race 6: Maiden 1000m
SATIN SOCKS (11) Was found with a bit of betting support on debut in the Gimcrack and ran good for a race of this class today. She was then put away to the paddock and has been given three trials in preparation for today. McEvoy riding is a big key for me. Expecting to be right in the finish.
Dangers:
SOAMI (3) On debut today and looked good in a recent trial here finishing just behind the winner. From a strong stable. Watch betting. MISS GENEVA (8) Looked good winning two trials prior to debut effort which was sound at Canterbury. Should be better for that effort and Avdulla takes the ride today. Happy to give another chance in this.
Race 7: Maiden 1200m
LAGARDE (8) Has had a few opportunities however is rarely far away in her events. Last start at the Gold Coast got a long way back and finished off well to finish third in a quick time race and the start prior was good here running second. Should again get a nice run from the draw and be right in the finish. Today is the day!
Dangers:
FURLANA (1) First up and fitter for two recent trials which have been good The form last preparation was sound after a long layoff. McEvoy and Snowden. Must be respected in this. AUTUMN (5) First up and fitter for two recent trials. First up form is good including a nice run behind Sylvia’s Mother which reads well for this. Watch betting. Can feature in this.
