Race 4: BM 72 Handicap 2130m
MISS SHANTI (3) Very heavy rain predicted so Keep an eye on the skies and any pattern which has formed in the early races. Good run last start over similar trip against Sky Boy last start who has since won again. That’s strong form for a race of this class. Drawn well and Bowman goes on for the ride. Looks very hard to beat.
Dangers:
SEMPER FIDELIS (4) Last two runs have been good on pace. Two starts back started favouirte against Miss Shanti however was no match for her and last start sound placing again on pace. Fit and races well here. Extra trip should suit. HEARTLET (8) Good win last start at 2400m at Randwick. Will roll forward from a wide gate and has performed well at a rain affected tracks. Will be in the finish again today.
Race 5: BM 70 Handicap 1200m
TANIKO (5) Fitter for two runs back from a spell. Last start got back and ran on well to narrowly go down in a tight finish. The start prior was first up and was a strong winner at Gosford as favourite. Class will be no issue and did win a trial in impressive fashion on a heavy track should the rain come. From strong yard. Looks hard to beat
Dangers:
BELLA SUCCESS (6) First up and looked good in a recent trial. Form last preparation although just fair was in harder grade than is meeting today. Drawn well and JMac with the ride. Looks to be in the finish. SEBRING EXPRESS (1) The last three runs have been good without placing. Last start rattled home finishing under a length from the winner. Big weight however gets in well after the claim. Can win with the right run. SPANISH DREAM (4) Good on pace last start at Canterbury then start prior was excellent winning at Gosford as favourite. She should find herself in a good position from the draw and is at peak fitness which could be a big advantage on a wet track.
Race 6: BM 76 1000m
DEPRIVE (6) Fitter for two recent trials and is two from two when first up. The win when last first up at Canterbury was very good box seating and proving too strong in very slick time. Bowman goes on for the ride and from strong yard. Looks hard to beat

SIKHING GLORY (4) First up run last start was good behind a smart one after being off the scene for over a year. Fitter for that effort and has won all career starts over this trip. A winner here and has raced well on a rain affected track. Watch betting. LEGERITY (11) Fitter for two recent trials where he has looked good winning both. Form last preparation was very good in weaker grade. From an inform stable. Keep safe. ENVY OF ALL (2) First up with a very good fresh record. Will get back from a wide draw and form last preparation is good enough to take this out. Recent trials looked like a forward run is on the cards.
Race 7: BM 70 Handicap 1400m
REGENT (3) Fitter for three runs back from a break and was a good trial winner at Rosehill last week. Last start on the Kensington was sound working to the line as favourite. Drops again in grade today and at peak fitness. Looks ready for a peak run this campaign.
Dangers:
COTERIE (9) Won well first two runs this preparation then last start another good run running second to the smart Royal Celebration. Avdulla gets the ride and can hold a forward position in the run. THE PASSAGE (4) Given a freshen up after a disappointing run last start. Form prior was good in higher grade and over a slightly longer trip. McEvoy and Snowden combo must be respected. Keep an eye on the market. SCHOOLMATES (13) First up and ran a nice second to Regent in a recent trial. The run two runs back breaking maiden status was good. JMac gets the ride and from the Waller stable. Reluctant to leave out of multiples.
