Race 4 – AUSTRALIAN TURF CLUB (1300M)
Zonk (2) – Form reads well for this event. Good last start on pace to run second then a forget run the start prior when slowly away. Peaks today and goes well here. Right in the finish.
Sweet Scandal (7) – Nice debut here running second with a big margin back to third. Last start a strong winner to break maiden status at Canterbury. Still on the up and live chance.
Mollyfied (3) – Excuses the first two starts this preparation racing wide then last start raced wide again and fought hard to score narrowly at Wyong. Due for a change of lukc in running and peaks today.
Race 5 – HALLOWED CROWN @ DARLEY (1600M)
Mr Haussmann (1) – Sound effort first up then hit the line well second up behind the smart Seahampton. That’s strong for this. On the quick back up, Bowman on. Looks very hard to beat.
Mcmahon (8) – Nice debut win at Wyong getting well back and running on well to score then a bit plain second up at Hawkesbury. More upside than a few of these and happy to forgive last start effort. From strong yard.
Shock Alert (4) – Excuses the first two starts this preparation then didn’t handle the wet track last time out. Peaks in fitness today and has a very good record at this trip. Big run expected.
Carluca (2) – Peaks in fitness today and excuses the past two runs. Was a winner last preparation in higher grade than meets today and gets Avdulla on board. Improved effort expected.
Race 6 – ATC OWNERS BENEFIT CARD (1400M)
Pianissimo (2) – Good effort two starts back running second in much higher grade then a forget effort at last at Canterbury. Racing well without winning. Gets his chance today to break through.
Magicus (5) – Last two starts have produced two solid seconds in similar grade. Bowman goes on and gear changes made. No reason why he can’t be in the finish again.
He’s A Given (3) – Three runs back have been good and peaks today for mine. Form around Coonawarra reads well for this after its Saturday win. Expecting bold showing.
La Pont (11) – Nice win at Newcastle two starts back then trapped wide last start when running second. This is harder however racing well and from strong yard. Can make presence felt.
Race 7 – SPRING ON SALE (1100M)
Wander (8) – Found it a touch to far last start. Back in trip today suits and has strong form around Easy Eddie who has been winning in town. Expecting to bounce back today.
Oriental Runner (1) – Not disgraced last start at listed level after a good first up run. Good winner here before going out for a break and Shinn goes on today. A lot to like about him.
Argent D’or (4) – The last three runs have been sound in higher grade. Narrowly went down when back in a similar grade. Fit and racing well can finish over the top of them with the right run.
