Here’s our Big 6 Horse Racing Tips for Saturday Sep 22
Caulfield
R6 #8 ANJANA
“Back, held-up until race was gone fresh but love the way she hit the line! Unbeaten in first prep all in fast times and ideal draw to 1400m here. Happy her way!”
(Oz Racing Form)
R7 # NIGHT’S WATCH
“Hit line well over shorter trip at Moonee Valley, looks suited stepping up to 2000m for the first time this prep.”
(Champion Bets)
R8 #8 HOME OF THE BRAVE
“HOME OF THE BRAVE is a speedy type that will take some catching around here. He destroyed them in Sydney a fortnight ago when leading all the way, run down up the straight fresh he looks the leader and if the track is favouring that pattern early in the day, expect him to be very well backed.”

Rosehill
R5 #6 YOUNGSTAR
“Very good run first up flashing home at G2 level in good time. Should only be fiter for that effort and step up in trip suits. Won well when second up last preparation and drops nicely in weight. Should get a soft run from the draw and if she gets the breaks will be very hard to beat.”

Morphettville
R1 #4 DIAPASON
“TEx-Chris Waller trained galloper that has now had the three runs since joining the Will Clarken Stable. Comes into this off the back of two eye-catching efforts when clearly doing best work late on each occasion. Suggest latest 3.5L eighth reads very well, against much tougher Listed company (ran on well against massive on-pace tempo!). Appears to get race run to suit with the likes of Savanero, With a Bit of Dash, Hell On Earth and Galaxy Gazer producing a more than genuine tempo up front hence would be disappointed if he couldn’t put these away….comfortably!! Given he now only looks thrown in carrying just 1kg above the minimum after the claim in this much easier BenchMark 70 affair suggest the opening $2.90 reads as terrific value…..best bet!!”

Belmont
R5 #7 BATTLE STORM
“BATTLE STORM was brilliant on debut winning by near 4L. That was no surprise after having ‘carnival horse’ written all over it at the trials. The debut win confirmed those suspicions and it should have no trouble accounting for this lot. It is well-weighted, nicely drawn and will use this as a stepping stone to bigger races down the track.”
