Here’s our Big 6 Horse Racing Tips for Saturday Oct 13
Caulfield
R7 #2 JUNGLE CAT
“Looked like he may have needed the run when winning the Rupert Clarke here a fortnight ago, he was midfield and came wide but looked to hit a flat spot before rallying at his Australian debut. He will be fitter for that run and maps a lot better than his opponents.”
(Our man in Melbourne)
R9 #2 NATIVE SOLDIER
“Terrific run in Guineas Prelude leading all the way.Looked to be strong through the line. Maps to find front again here. Each Way all day.”
(Champion Bets)
Randwick
R4 #14 FIERCE IMPACT“All three runs in Australia have been excellent since arriving from the UK. Last start when first up and hit the line well. Fitter for that effort and extra distance suits and has won on a slow track. Down in the weights and expecting to be finishing off hard again.“
(Our man in Sydney)
R10 #6 ESPERANCE
“Very good win WFM with his 61kg running home over 3.5L quicker than class average despite a fast speed. Hasn’t seen wet since his debut when he looked like the next coming of Phar Lap when race rated through the roof!”
(Oz Racing Form)
Morphettville
R6 #9 SIRIUS SUSPECT
“Another Darren Weir galloper that promises to have a bright future having won three of his only seven starts. In a race with very little pressure, maps to lead doing no work from his ideal rails draw whilst also peaks now having his fourth run this time in. Admittedly this is his toughest test to date, meeting some more than handy gallopers however simply can’t ignore the fact this bloke appears to have found his ideal race getting everything to suit. Expect him to give a terrific on-pace sight and be extremely hard to run down. More than happy to take the current $5.”
(Our man in Adelaide)
Bunbury
R6 #10 STAGEMAN
“STAGEMAN has won 3 of 5 career starts & was a tragedy beaten before heading out for a spell. It’s only other loss was a 2nd placing to Fabergino which is no disgrace. This is a stepping stone to the Summer Carnival & it should open its account with a win first up this prep.”
