Race 1 – TAB HIGHWAY HANDICAP (1100M)
Jetgirl (7) – Bolted in last start at Bathurst leading and winning by over 6 lengths. This is harder however will race forward and is fit. Shinn goes on today. Well found in markets however looks hard to beat.
Table Mountain (2) – First up and winner of a recent trial in good fashion. Form last preparation was very good winning 2 of 4 starts. From strong yard and Bowman goes on today.
Lifesaver (3) – First up and strong fresh form and from stable that racks up winning these events. Good record at this trip and recent trial was sound. Expecting bold showing.
Race 2 – FAIRFIELD RSL (2000M)
Nicci’s Gold (7) – Last two starts have been good without much luck in running. Drawn well and on the quick back up from last week. Will be running on hard late. One to beat.
Trafalgar (2) – Appreciated the step up in trip last start winning well. Peaks in fitness today for mine and extra 100m looks no issue. From strong stable and in well after the claim.
The Macallan (8) – Two starts in Australia have been solid efforts. Should be fitter for those runs and gets a nice weight relief today. Needs to find a length or two however expecting improvement.
Race 3 – ST JOHNS PARK BOWLING CLUB (1500M)
Bergerac (1) – Very good winner last weekend rolling forward and fighting hard in the straight to score in quick time. Drawn to be able to cross again today. Repeat performance has him in the finish.
Island Missile (4) – Started favourite against Bergerac last start and ran on solidly to the line. Meets him better at the weights today and is fit. Can win this with the right run.
Travancore (8) – Fitter for three runs back from a spell. Last start was a much improved effort running on well late to run second. Peaks in condition and step up in trip suits. Can feature.
Race 4 – DOOLEYS HANDICAP (1400M)
Sweet Scandal (8) – Lightly raced and winner of her past three starts in good fashion. Last start sat on pace to score well at Warwick Farm under a big weight. Fit and in form and from strong yard.
Istria (5) – Fitter for first up effort after finishing off hard to run second. Has very good second up effort and a four time winner at this trip. Stable is flying. Right in this.
Seahampton (12) – Average effort last start and went back to the trials and looked good winning. Start prior won like a very good horse. Happy to give her another chance in this. Currently $9.
Irithea (2) – Specked in betting and won well last start in good time racing on pace and proving to strong. Peaks today in fitness and from good yard, expecting to be in the finish again.
Race 5 – CAMPBELL TOWN CATHOLIC CLUB (1100M)
Tactical Advantage (2) – Brilliant winner first up dashing clear to win very easy. Better for that effort and Bowman goes on today. Looks very hard to beat based on that performance.
Trekking (9) – Talented horse first up. Last start before break won well at Warwick Farm as a short priced favourite. Previous runs are good at group and listed level. Can measure up in this.
Diddums (7) – First up and fitter for two recent trials. Form last preparation was good enough for this including a win at G3 level. Only run here produced a strong all the way victory.
Race 6 – SMITHFIELD RSL (1100M)
Plague Stone (4) – Won well first up finishing off well to score in good time. Fitter for that effort and form last preparation is very good around Written By. One to beat in this.
Sandbar (3) – First up and winner of a recent trial. Form last preparation was very good including a good effort in the Golden Slipper. Has ability. Watch betting. Currently $7.
Legend Of Condor (1) – First up and fitter for two recent trials. Form last preparation was very consistent running well at group level. Will be looking to kick up from an inside draw. Currently $7.5.
Race 7 – BANKSTOWN SPORTS PREMIER CUP (1800M)
Carzoff (5) – Two runs this preparation have been good without striking victory. Last start was clearly the best of the on pace runners for mine. Very consistent and will be in the finish.
Emperor’s Way (6) – Excuses in two runs back this preparation. Fitter for those efforts and out to a more suitable trip. Expecting a sharp improvement today and looks a good each way price. Currently $9.5.
Harper’s Choice (8) – Winner at 2400m last start on pace and has since been freshened for this assignment. Talented when right and good record at this trip. Keep safe.Mister Sea Wolf (1) – Good winner last start in quick time finishing off well from a midfield position. A small query on the trip however if runs it can take this out. Currently $4.
Race 8 – SPRING PREVIEW (1400M)
Flow (10) – Nailed in the shadows of the post last start in a quick time event. Will be looking to sit forward from the draw and has an excellent record at this trip. Hard to beat.
I Am Serious (13) – First up and a winner of 7 from 11. Looked good in a recent trial. This is harder than she contested last preparation however looks to have more than her share of ability. Can win.
Farolitos (11) – Excuses first up then ran a good race second up closing well. Fitter for that effort and will get a soft run from the draw expecting to see him finish off late.
Shiraz (7) – Racing consistently without winning. Last start got along way out of it ground and finished off well late. Fit, drawn well and Angland on. Has the ability to take this out.
Race 9 – CLUBNSW HANDICAP (1350M)
Paret (7) – Nice effort second up saluting here after getting well back in the run and finishing off hard. Fitter again for that effort and does have above average ability. Expecting to go very close again.
Star Of Monsoon (1) – Good winner here first up then last start was overrun late after being sent out as favourite. Drops in class and good record at this trip. Expecting a good showing.
Absolute (5) – Big weight first up at Kembla Grange and got the job done well. Fitter for that effort and won well second up last preparation. Nice weight drop and from top yard. Goes close.
