Race 5: ANZ Bloodstock News 1300m
SEXY EYES (1) First up run was good working to the line well at Warwick Farm to narrowly go down. Second up record is sound and drops sharply in class from what she has contested in recent races. Drawn to get a soft run from barrier 5 and runs on rain affected tracks have been sound. Big weight however goes close.
Dangers:
NAI’A(4) Nice winner two starts back at Kembla Grange running on wel as short priced favourite then last start was found to have pulled up lame. Go on the run two runs back and she will be in the finish today. DOLLY’S DUE (11) Racing in very good form. Unlucky two starts back when held up for room then hitting the line well. Last start again ran on well in quick time event. Fit and record shows she handles the wet conditions. Can’t see anything else from these three taking out the race.
Race 6: The Agency Real Estate 1800m
GIRL TUESDAY (2) Three starts for three wins. Last start was the most impressive of the lot sitting midfield in the run and sprinting well to win by over 3 lengths as an odds on favourite. The extra distance looks no problem and bred to handle the wet conditions. One to beat for mine.
Dangers:
ARRAIGNMENT(1) Very good last start in higher grade sitting forward in the run and battling on well to finish third. Rises 7kgs from the last start however fit and will roll forward from an outside draw. Looks hard to hold out. KEEP UP (7) Forget effort last start when over raced and was well beaten after being sent out as favourite. Has since trialed well and the class and distance pose no issues. Looks a nice each way bet at the $20
Race 7: tab.com.au Handicap 1300m
DEITY (8) All three runs this preparation have been good. Last start at Warwick Farm got back and won in quick time under a big weight as favourite. Should be at peak fitness today and this only looks marginally harder. This very well bred mare will take a lot of beating today
Dangers:
METAMORPHIC (6) Very good the last four starts winning two of them. Last start at Canterbury sat just behind the speed and ran on soundly to run second. Sure to be in the finish again. CHAPELCO (2) On pace the last two runs and was run down late in both to run second. Drawn out and will be rolling forward from the gate. Peaks in fitness and looks to be in the finish. TORPENHOW (5) I liked the first up effort running on soundly under the big weight then sound again running second at Rosehill. Fitter, from strong yard and Avdulla goes on.
Race 8: Australian Turf Club 1100m
EXCELLENT DESIGN (8) Nice first up win at Canterbury when sent out as favourite then last start was a forgive run after suffering interference. Fitter for two runs back and drops in grade today and Bowman takes the ride. Has abit more upside than some of her rivals and should get a nice run from the draw.
Dangers:
REGIMEN (5) First up and looked the part in a recent trial. Form last preparation is good enough to take a race of this class out. Two rain affected track runs have been excuse and sound effort. It looks to be the slight query. SUPER STAR BOB (7) He is talented when right. First up today and has won fresh in the past. Two starts back wasn’t that far behind Don’t Give A Damn which reads well for this. Not the worst. AND SO IT GOES (2) Lightly raced 5yo mare who was very unlucky when first up striking interference. Sound second up record and should obtain a nice run just behind the speed. Hopefully the inside isn’t too bad by this time of the day.
