Race 1 – #THERACES HANDICAP (1200M)
Marmaris (1) – Nice first up effort behind the winner who has since won again. Fitter for that effort and only other second up effort was good. From strong yard, the one to beat.
Thinkin’ Big (2) – I liked the debut win at Canterbury racing on pace and fighting hard in the straight. Better for that run and Shinn stays on. Will be in the finish again. Currently $5.
Helaku (5) – Nice run two starts back at Kembla Grange running on well then last broke maiden status bolting in. Drawn to get a soft run and from strong yard. Keep an eye on betting. Currently $5.
Race 2 – TAB HIGHWAY HANDICAP (1200M)
Nicconita (4) – Won her first two runs this preparation then a sound second last start in the same class. Fit, racing well and should roll forward from the draw. Right in this again.
Highway Sixtysix (5) – First up and form last preparation was very good for a race of this class. Ran well behind She Knows last preparation which reads well for this. Short enough at current quote however good enough to win.Tim’s Principal (1) – Excuses last start over racing. Form prior was good for a race of this class. Will drift back from the gate however expecting to see him hitting the line late.
Race 3 – RANDWICK MAYORS CUP (1100M)
Bombarding (2) – Two starts two wins this preparation both at Wyong leading and kicking strongly in the straight. Has been impressive since arriving from NZ. Sits on pace again and looks hard to beat.
Envy Of All (3) – All three runs this preparation have been good. Last start impressive winner at Ipswich getting back and running on well. Peaks today for mine and Shinn goes on. Right in this.
Revenire (1) – Two good victories to start the preparation then the last two brave on heavy tracks. Gets firmer footing today and rarely runs a poor race. Currently $5.
Race 4 – HALF YEARLY MEMBERSHIP (1600M)
La Chica Bella (3) – On the quick back up from last start where ridden a bit to keen on pace. Back in trip and able to control the speed from draw has her right in this and return to form.
Wide Spread Panic (6) – Drops 8.5kg from last start at Wyong where she raced forward and tried hard under the big weight. Drawn to get a good run. Can be right in the finish.
Race 5 – WINTER RACING (2400M)
Plymouth Road (1) – Good winner last start here over this trip leading and kicking strongly in the straight. Proven at the trip and will give them something to catch again.
Only Tiger (3) – Nice second last start behind Plymouth Road and put a big gap back to third. Fit, racing well and expecting to be running on again late. Stable has a good record with stayers. Currently $5.
Nahuel (5) – Racing well since arriving from France. Last two starts have been victories at Newcastle in weaker grade. Gets a big weight drop today and has placed at this trip. Stable going well.
Race 6 – TAB REWARDS (1400M)
Popular (5) – When down narrowly two starts back then made amends last start winning well at Warwick Farm after sitting midfield. Peaks today for mine and still on the up. Currently $6.
Island Missile (2) – First up effort was good late hitting the line well. Fitter for that effort and has a good second up record. I like the engagement of Shinn and from strong yard. Ticks a lot of boxes.
Seahampton (12) – Excuses first up then rattled home late second up at Canterbury. Fitter for those efforts and trials leading into first up effort were smart. Expecting bold showing.
Oria (9) – Won first up then the next three have been good without a lot of luck. Last start narrowly went down racing on pace and sent out as favourite. Form is good enough to be in the finish again. Currently $7.5.
Race 7 – WALLABY CUP (1800M)
Dagny (3) – Good winner two starts back as favourite then last start at 2000m probably found it a touch to far as she only grinded to the line. Back to suitable trip and racing well. Hard to beat.
Vaucluse Bay (8) – Three runs back this preparation have all been good without winning. Peaks in fitness today and gets a nice weight drop. Expecting to be right in this.
Karavali (1) – Ran home well to score last start. Has been up for a while however 3 is 3 from 4 at this track and gets in well after the claim. Watch for her late she will be running on.
Carzoff (2) – One of the six Waller runners in this event. First up today and has a good fresh record and goes well at this trip. Form last preparation is good enough to be in the finish. Watch betting. Currently $6.5.
Race 8 – TAB.COM.AU (1300M)
Redouble (11) – Fitter for two runs back in high grade where he has hit the line hard in both. Drops in class today and was a winner third up last preparation. Looks hard to beat.
Brook Magic (9) – Good win first up then over did it last start when challenged for the lead. Im happy to forgive that effort. Can win if given the right run. Currently $5.5.
Philosophy (6) – All five runs this preparation have been sound without winning. Gets in well at the weights today and Angland stays on. Expecting her to be running on late again.
Best Guess (2) – Excuses first up when pulled up with an issue. IS 2 from 2 when second up and 2 from 2 on a soft track. Has the Waller polish. Expecting sharp improvement today.
Race 9 – AUSTRALIAN TURF CLUB SPRINT (1000M)
She Knows (1) – Very consistent filly who has won 3 of her past 5 starts. Last start won with a leg in the air. No worse than second in 5 career starts here. Doesn’t know how run a bad one.
Bandipur (3) – Sent out favourite last start against She Knows and ran a shocker. Happy to forgive that effort and give another chance. Back on to a drier surface a plus.
Samadoubt (4) – On pacer who is first up today. Two trials leading into this have been good and has ran well at this trip in the past. Can be in the finish today. Currently $12
Tip Top (8) – First up and given a quiet trial in preparation for today. Good fresh record and good record at this trip. Expecting him to be running on well late and looks a good each way bet at $12.
