Darren Weir galloper that comes into this off the back of a completely luckless run when still far from disgraced. Just loved the way he hit the line strongly against clear on-pace bias tempo when produced the clear strongest final sectionals of the race. Plummets in the weights here whilst also gets the senior rider back board. Previous Melbourne form, had been most competitive against much higher quality gallopers than what he meets here. Have absolutely no doubt this bloke is the best placed horse in the race however concede tempo may still be the query. In saying that still suggest the opening $3.10 presents as more than acceptable.

Impeccably bred ex-NSW galloper that is now bursting to break through coming into this off a strong last start Gawler Cup runner-up effort. Expect the step up to the mile to now be ideal whilst also maps more favourably, sitting more forward, just off solid on-pace tempo. Seriously if able to get anywhere near his previous best Sydney ratings he would smash these. Newly acquired galloper that rated well when scoring strong first-up win for Will Clarken Stable. Expected to have taken plenty of benefit for having had that run whilst also maps ideally sitting just off hot tempo up front. Only two previous second-up runs both more than respectable with the icing on the cake being the massive inclusion bonus of Jamie Kah jumping aboard for the first time. A good example of our confidence is the fact we had this bloke on top, even before the scratching of the opening favourite Fill The Flute. Presents as a terrific investment at the current $4!

Noted fresh specialist resuming from year long lay-off. Again appears primed for a strong first-up tilt coming into this off the back of three trials including a win at most recent effort. Had good form around predominantly much gallopers than what he meets here. Maps to lead these comfortably having found a race with little/no pressure up front. Seriously appears ideally placed and presents as outstanding ‘big overs’ at the most generous $10 being offered….best value bet of the day!!
