Our Century (4) – Winner of the Wangaratta Cup in good style last start. Distance rise is no problem. Only query is the wet track. If handles wet is a big chance on current form
Kinema (6) – Gets to a suitable trip now and races well in the wet. Raced abit keenly last start when finishing unplaced. Ryan Moore goes on and he won on him during Cup week
Race 2 – TAB BIRTHDAY CARD STAKES (1200M)
Raiment (6) – First up and trialled well leading into this. Excellent form last preparation winning 2 of 3 starts in lower class. Looks ready to step up.
Samantha (8) – Started this preparation as a maiden now a key chance in a group race. Won in excellent fashion against the smart Glenall. Loves the wet and in peak fitness
Nancy (1) – Every chance last start but now peaks in condition. Very talented on her day. Well track form is sound and drawn to get out wide should they be running on down the outside.
Fiftyshadesofgrey (10) – Swooper that loves the wet conditions. First up and trialled soundly. This is a major step up in class however she grows a leg in the wet only being unplaced once in 5 starts on a Heavy. Currently $61
Race 3 – DARBY MUNRO (1200M)
Tactical Advantage (1) – 4 from 4 this preparation and racing well on wet tracks. Impossible to knock and one to beat. Drawn to roll forward again
Crafty Cop (4) – Last start heavy track winner in good fashion at Canterbury and ran good time considering the conditions. Big watch on betting currently $8
Improvement (12) – Only fair last start at the Valley, form prior was excellent winning 4 in a row. Has good wet track form and drawn to lead again. Hard to catch with the right run
Star Of Monsoon (8) – First up and still a maiden, however ran very well behind some of the top 3 year olds in the country. Wet track form is good and has trialled leading into this. Currently $15
Race 4 – RANVET STAKES (2000M)
Hartnell (1) – Excellent behind Winx first up then a shade disappointing last start. If you can forgive that deserves to be $1.9. Solid wet track form
The United States (5) – Solid in the Australian Cup last Saturday and now peaks in condition. Goes good in the wet and winner of this race last year with a similar back up of 7 days
Antonio Giuseppe (7) – Won well first up and no match for the flying Tavago last start. On the quick back up and a real swimmer. Peaks in fitness. Looks good value at $9
Stratum Star (3) – Very consistent galloper with Wins in WA, QLD & VIC this preparation. Good in the Australian Cup last week and winner in the wet. Don’t leave out.
Race 5 – GEORGE RYDER (1400M)
Winx (8) – Champion
Chautauqua (1) – Ran very well last start and unlucky to not win. Drawn a touch awkward again but a true star of the turf at his best. Can place
Mccreery (6) – Very good first up winning on a heavy track and goes very well in the wet. $4.8 the place looks a good bet
Le Romain (2) – Doesn’t say die, winner of both his starts this preparation and goes very well on a heavy track. Impossible to leave out of multiples
Race 6 – ROSEHILL GUINEAS (2000M)
Inference (4) – Swooped home down the outside fence to score in impressive style. The step up in distance causes no threat and loves the wet. Go well
Gingernuts (2) –Winner of the NZ Derby and winner of its past 3 starts. Racing very well and loves a wet track. Very fit and should run well
Sizzling Bullet (8) – Big step up in class, winner of his last 2 on wet tracks and still on the up. Fit and racing well and must include due to the conditions. Currently $16
So Si Bon (7) – Good first up in slick race then again good when found the wrong part of the track. Goes well in the wet and 2000m+ runs all very good. Not the worst $61 today.
Race 7 – GOLDEN SLIPPER (1200M)
She Will Reign (12) – Boom 2yr old that tasted defeat for the first time to Frolic when sent out $1.4 chance. Happy to forgive that run, currently $6
Houtzen (15) –Impossible to knock, unbeaten in career and won the Magic Millions in fine style. Wet track form is excellent and drawn to roll forward.
Menari (8) – Disappointing last start however I thought there were excuses. If you can forgive that effort the $26 on offer is a huge price. Form prior was excellent
Veranillo (2) – Very consistent this preparation and has not missed a place. Wet track form is good and blinkers go on. Knockout chance at $41
Race 8 – THE GALAXY (1100M)
Russian Revoultion (12) – Good in the Coolmore before spelling, previous runs excellent with 4 straight victories. Winner of two recent trials and unbeaten on wet tracks. Go well
Supido (8) – Good last start on a wet track at Randwick. Peaks in condition and his third to Black Heart Bart 3 starts back is excellent form for this. Currently $13
Redzel (6) – Ran very well on a heavy track first up just going down to English. Goes really good at the distance and in wet. Must include
English (3) – Continued her fantastic fresh record winning in good style. Ran well in this race last year and loves a wet track. A contender in a very open race.
Race 9 – BRADFORD BLACK EPONA STAKES (1350M)
Elle Lou (2) – Racing well, winner of past 2 runs and all 7 of career wins coming on rain affected tracks. Gets back and will be running on
Song And Laughter (6) – Took off a touch early last start and battled away to just miss a placing. Another who loves the wet. Big chance to make amends today
Alegria (4) – Racing really well this preparation. Has ran on hard in her last two to just miss. Taking abit on trust but fit and racing well. Well found in betting markets
Ambience (1) – Fitter for two runs back and getting to a more suitable distance. Form reads a lot better than the price on offer. Currently $17
Race 10 – PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS QUALIFER (1200M)
Machinegun Jubs (4) – Trained on the track and will roll forward from the gate. Won well at Canterbury last start and has a excellent record over the track and distance. Hard to catch
The Wasp (17) – Racing well this preparation winning 2 from 2 in good style. This is a big step up. Trainer has provided the winner of this race the past two years. On the quick back up a big plus. Currently $16
Raido (1) –Fit and loves the sting out of the ground. Shade disappointing last start, go on previous strong win at Canterbury. That’s strong form for this. From stable that knows how to win this race.
Pomelo (13) – Flying this preparation, won by 6L first up in good time then again last start by 3L at Randwick in the wet. Fit and firing and impossible to leave out. Well found in betting markets
