Warwick Farm Racing Tips
Race 4 – PLUCK@VINERY HANDICAP (1200M)
Americana Magic (3) – Nice win first up at Wyong leading and kicking strongly to win well in sick time. Only other second up run was unlucky behind the city class Kennedy. Goes close.
Connoisseur (2) – First up and fitter for two recent trials. Form last preparation was good and should be able to kick up from an inside gate and hold a forward position and be right in the finish. Currently $5.
Impasse (6) – Well bred and first up today after one solid trial. Form last preparation was sound for a race of this class and has McDonald booked for the ride. Watch betting. Currently $5.5.
Race 5 – RANVET POWER FORMULA HANDICAP (1600M)
Cormac (4) – Good winner two starts back breaking maiden then unlucky not win last start finishing a narrow second. Fit, races well here and at this trip and has drawn favourably. Looks a good price at $6.
Toryjoy (8) – Won maiden here in good time two starts back then last start was good running on soundly in higher grade. This doesn’t look any harder and peaks in fitness today. Can win.
Chalmers (2) – Good win two starts back at Newcastle then a good second behind the inform Gresham. Has won at the trip and peaks in fitness today. Form reads good for a race of this class.
Race 6 – BOWERMANS FURNITURE HANDICAP (1600M)
Allcash (4) – On the quick back up after running a good second last start. Avdulla stays on which is a plus. Does struggle to win however gets his hance today to break through.
Mornington (2) – Consistent this preparation without winning. Drops in class today which should suit and has raced well here in the past. Right in this if he can bring his best.
Only Tiger (5) – Solid two starts back at Gosford running second then a good winner last start at Wyong. This is harder however fit and inform and has raced well here.
Race 7 – TAB HANDICAP (1300M)
Seahampton (12) – Lightly raced 3yo filly who is first up. Only the one start last preparation and bolted in at Newcastle. Early betting suggests she is ready to go first up. Hard to beat.
Oria (4) – Good winner first up and the last two there have been excuses for mine. Peaks today in fitness and from strong yard. Looks a clear second pick. Currently $3.7.
Villa Carlotta (2) – A nice second last start beating third easily. Fitter now for two runs back from a spell and if can recapture early form has a big chance in this. Currently $10.
