Lightly raced Darren Weir visitor expected to benefit greatly from strong/unlucky, first-up effort when just missing. Displayed plenty of promise in his first campaign winning his first two starts before being tipped straight out when a tragedy beaten against Listed company only other start. Rise in trip and 3kg drop in the weights also both big positives….wouldn’t at all surprise to see a very smart/comfortable win here!! Admittedly the $2.10 at first appearances may appear short however expect this bloke to more than justify that quote….so much so wouldn’t at all surprise to see him start shorter and give these a spanking!!

Race 6 No 6 FLEETING FEELING
The blinkers going on certainly did the trick when this mare was able to turn things around sharply, leading throughout to score for a dominant win last start. At the same time produced a rating most of these would only dream about and if anything would only expect her to have come on even further as that was her first run over this longer trip. This seriously not much tougher and given a similar effort expect the McEvoy/Kah combination to again rise to the occasion and put these away…comfortably! Honestly think the $2.80 is big value!!

Lightly raced six year old gelding that enjoyed a change of tactics when producing clear career best figures when leading throughout to score impressively two starts back. Attempted to employ the same tactics again however was caught wide the trip when weakening out of it last start. Obviously putting a line through that run and expect this bloke to be one of the days big improvers having drawn ideally to do very little work, sitting up on what just appears a moderate tempo. Expect he will give supporters a great sight and presents as the days best value runner at the juicy $11 on offer.

Victorian visitor that comes into this off ideal freshen-up. Appears particularly well placed against these on best form having raced against stronger company in 8/9 most recent starts. Appears to get conditions to suit from the favourable draw with likely strong tempo up front looking to work in his favour. Stable electing to claim is the icing on the cake getting in just 2.5kg above the minimum! Reckon the $7.50 presents as extremely generous and certainly shapes as a terrific each-way gamble for punters to potentially ‘get out’.
